Leeds City Council is the second-largest single LA in the UK by population — over 812,000 residents across 33 wards. The Leeds metropolitan district stretches from the dense city centre, the famous Headingley/Hyde Park student belt and inner-city neighbourhoods like Beeston and Armley, out through suburban areas like Pudsey and Garforth, to the genuinely rural villages around Otley and Wetherby.
Leeds Community Healthcare and Leeds and York Partnership NHS FT (LYPFT) provide community mental health, learning disability and adult ND services. Adult ADHD and autism diagnostic waits in Leeds remain long; we do not require a diagnosis to book.
Leeds has one of the largest student populations in the UK — over 70,000 students across the University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett and Leeds Trinity.
