Local context
What we see when we work in Liverpool
Practical, area-specific notes — not generic copy.
Liverpool sits within the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and contains some of the most deprived wards in England (parts of Walton, Anfield and Everton appear in the most-deprived 1% nationally) alongside more affluent areas in the south of the city around Aigburth and Allerton.
Mersey Care NHS FT provides community mental health, learning disability and adult ND services across Liverpool. Adult ASD and ADHD diagnostic waits in Cheshire & Merseyside have been long; we do not require a diagnosis to book.
Liverpool has a strong tradition of community-led mental health and disability advocacy, including the long-standing PSS (Person Shaped Support) Liverpool roots and the city’s reputation for service-user voice in commissioning.
We work in Georgian terraces in the Georgian Quarter and Toxteth, Victorian terraces in Wavertree and Walton, post-war estates in Speke and Croxteth, and modern apartments in the city centre and Liverpool ONE area.

For commissioners & professionals
Working with Liverpool City Council
If you are a social worker, OT, housing officer, safeguarding lead or commissioner in Liverpool, here is how Neatly fits alongside your work.
Statutory alignment
We deliver a person-centred, trauma-informed model that complements Care Act 2014 (or the equivalent Scottish, Welsh or NI framework) assessments and multi-agency self-neglect & hoarding work. We are explicitly NOT a deep-clean contractor.
Procurement & commissioning
Neatly is willing to engage with LCC Adult Social Care, SEND commissioning and the Cheshire & Merseyside ICB. Our model is well-suited to multi-agency hoarding and self-neglect work in Liverpool and complements Mersey Care community teams.
